Since I started blogging again (29-12-2011), I have been aware of a small aspiration forming within the recesses of my mind. This aspiration of mine is to write something with long sentences. For example, in a treatise on philosophy, the author has the knack of avoiding the full stop for as long as s/he can. It can be deduced that there are fewer fullstops on a page in such a text as there would be in a normal book of the same dimensions and font size. I have observed that in order to achieve this, s/he employs the trick of expounding an idea that has something something to do with perception. That seems to work. It's not that I lack ideas about perception myself, but I would like to express something along the lines of a leaf from my diary. Perhaps I would like my writing to express and elaborate on an aspiration of mine.
Hold it! I am sure the same thought has occurred to the reader that this very post deals with an aspiration I cherish. Let me select a random sentence and take a word count to see if it fulfills the criterion.
"Hold it!"
Only two.
Let's try another one. "Only two."
Dear God. Not again.
"Dear God."
Oh, well. Maybe not.
Another post. Another time.

"Another time."
Darn it!
